Rockstar Global Brings Its Healthcare Playbooks to Trainual to Standardize VA Training in Private Practices

Owners spend less time training and more time with patients, while every new hire learns the same documented way of working from day one.

Rockstar Global, one of the leading healthcare outsourcing companies for physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech-language pathology (SLP) practices, today announced a partnership with Trainual, the training and operations platform used by more than 8,000 teams. 

The partnership gives practice owners a practical way to train their teams, and maintain consistent operations. Eligible practices can access eight ready-to-use operational playbooks within their Trainual accounts. The playbooks will be available starting November 2026 to Rockstar and Trainual partners. 

For many practice owners, the challenge begins when an experienced front desk employee leaves. Their departure can take valuable knowledge with them, from handling complex payer requirements to securing authorizations and managing daily schedules. Owners are then left training replacements between patient appointments, often relying on memory and informal instructions. Front office turnover in medical practices runs 40% a year, according to MGMA’s 2023 MGMA DataDive Practice Operations data.

Rockstar has spent years documenting the administrative processes that help therapy practices run efficiently. Now, eight of these playbooks will be available through Trainual, giving practices a structured starting point for training and operations.

With documented procedures in place,new hires can follow consistent steps from day one. Every patient gets a more standardized experience, whoever is at the desk. When a payer changes a rule, the owner updates the process once and the whole team knows. Practice owners no longer have to rely solely on verbal instructions or individual employees to keep essential processes running.

Getting started is simple. Trainual's team sets up the account and upload the playbooks, giving owners a ready-to-use training system instead of a blank page. Trainual will also provide direct support to help practices get started.
